In 1968 Larry Laczkowski rounded up a few hockey players in the middle of basketball country. They were able to put together a small schedule of 3 games. They finished the 1968-69 season with a 2-1 record and played other small club teams like Tennessee.

After the first game several players kicked off the team for jumping the fence around their outdoor rink and playing a little night hockey.
