Indiana
moves up in the Rankings
Indiana moved up to fourth in
the Southeast Rankings. Only the top four teams out of each region
will be invited to the ACHA DII National Championships.
The Hoosiers are the fifth team
from the GMHL to be sitting National Championship invite spots.
Michigan State, Oakland, Davenport, and Michigan hold the 4 positions
in the Central Region.
Here are the top 5 spots in
the Southeast Regional Rankings:
1. Liberty
2. IUP
3. Ohio State
4. Indiana
5. Bowling Green
Next week, the Hoosiers travel
to Kalamazoo, MI to play the newest member of the GMHL, the Davenport
Panthers. Indiana is only 1 point behind Davenport in the GMHL standings.
The Panthers are led by JJ Price and Chad Anguilm, who each have
27 points on the year. The Panthers goaltending has been stellar
with Eric Rupert posting a 1.68 goals against average and a save
percentage of 94% in eight games this year.
